So what do
you need for your special event? Well, wherever you are going,
the first thing you must do is check out the dress code - you
don't want to turn up in a morning suit if everyone else is
wearing an evening suit! There are some ideas on this page, but
your retailer will be the best person to advise on what is

For a school
prom, consider the single breasted dinner suit, with a bow tie
and matching cummerbund, as shown on the left.
To the right

usually worn with a white marcella shirt, waistcoat and matching
white marcella bow tie. In this picture, the model is also wearing a white silk
scarf, and is carrying a black top hat and cane. Looks really

coloured waistcoat and a contrasting ruche as shown below. Also

these are sometimes worn with a euro tie (as shown) or with a
